My Top 3 Pictures of This Year

This is my take on the double exposure portrait. This is my sister in the picture and we took this portrait with my iPhone XR. The background behind is a white wall in my brothers room. The flowers you see throughout her hair and shirt were taken at a trip during spring break at the Carlsbad Flower Field. I enjoy this picture because it brought joy to my family and I was impressed with myself after seeing the beautiful result. The thing that bugged me with this picture was probably her ear, there are little spots covered with flower that should not be.

This is my take on camera obscura. This is one of my favorites because I did not think that I would be able to create something like this. What I used for this project was blue masking tape, black trash bags, and my phone. I set this up the night before taking it and had very low hopes, but when I woke up and saw the reflection of my neighbors house on my wall I immediately ran to my family and showed them what I had just done. They were all going nuts and it was great to see them smiling. There is a streak of light that goes down from one end to the other and that was the place I could have fixed.

This is my take on a silhouette. I enjoyed this picture because all you can see is the outline of everything and not all of their little details. Although there is a lot going on it makes me like it more because all you can see is dark shaped. I took this picture with one of my 3 sisters up the street from my house. I liked the location with the street sign and I sat down and took the picture with my phone. Something I could have done better was have my sister take off her glasses and take a picture where there is not a lot of objects in the air.

I like Amaya Meza's picture because of the vibrance of these flowers.

I enjoy Angel Bartolo's photo because of the overcast weather with the tall trees. It is almsot as if there is a dark theme throughout the photo.
